When Darryl Jones set out to build the bass of his dreams in 2012, he studied guitar-building at Musicians Institute.
When he wanted to delve deeper and indulge his sonic dreams and aesthetic desires, he turned to the legendary master luthier John Carruthers.
He founded Jones Musical Instruments in 2014. The company has grown since that early partnership, and Darryl continues to design and build superlative instruments with Pat Wilkins using cutting-edge methods and time-honored practices.
Hearkening back to the classic basses and guitars of the 1950’s and 60’s, all Jones Musical Instruments can be customized to indulge your very own sonic dreams and aesthetic desires.
